I'd like to say a big "Thank You" to all the members who gave their time to help the committee during the day - and all the men (members and otherwise) who were pressed into service for setting up and taking stuff down again.
Where would we be without you all?
Thank You
PS. Thank you Jane Austin for inspiring those lovely costumes.

Let me add my thanks too for all the help we had.
I know the membership secretary had a busy day as did the fisches and laptop. The library seemed to be busy and at least one lady was there for hours...No doubt we will have a debriefing at the next meeting.
We had a lot of visitors who had met one of more of us in the reference library and they were impressed with the society.
It was jolly good to meet Janet Duckworth from St Cuthbert's as I can now put a face to the name. It was a brilliant idea to open the church all day (apart from the wedding) and I really hope they were well attended.
Dotty
