Is it next to the entrance of which is now the Salvation Army Furniture Store?   Must admit the lady on the right looks just like my aunty Nellie (she frightened the life out of me - I till get the shakes when I think of her)

According to Dad it was 'Little Shakespeare Street'.  It was my Nan's local shop this picture was sent to my Dad when he was serving in Cyprus, so was rather well travelled.

One of the ladies in the picture who sent it, was a 'Miss Stott'.

The doll's hospital was in Ashley Road.

Ray, at our age we have to get our pleasures where we find them.  Me, I love the smell of steam engines....
