Cottrill Family

My Great grandparents were John Herbert Cottrill (n/a Herbert) and Martha Alice Cottrill (n/a Alice nee Rothwell). I am researching the family, they lived at 64, Denmark Rd. Southport in the 1911 census. They had 4 children Winifried, Herbert, Francis William and Sarah, who was called Cissy. John Herbert died in 1917 and Martha Alice in 1928. Winifried married Arnold West and they lived in Southport on Norwood Ave. until they died, Cissy contiued to live at the Norwood Ave. house, she married Robert Smith and passed away sometime in the 1970s.
If anyone knows of or has information or photographs of any of these people I would be grateful, as I have no photos of my Great grandparents or my Grandfather Francis William when he was young.

Do you have any idea who your grandfather's siblings married? Who and when would be something to go on.

You have no photos of your grandfather but have you tried other members of the family?

Thank you for your reply, yes, I have been in contact with the only relatives remaining and they have the same situation, no photographs. Only my grandfathers brother Herbert had any children.

The youngest of the family Cissy, married a widowere Robert Smith, who outlived her and remained in the Norwood Avenue house, so any personal belonging would have been removed from the house by his children on his death.
