I looked at this database after Jane kindly pointed it out to me. I found some information that maybe relevant and so decided to download the GEDCOM and import it into Legacy. I did this but the file won't import into Legacy as the programme says the file is incomplete. I tried downloading it several times but to no avail. So I then tried to import the file into my tree on Ancestry and again had the same result.

Has anyone else had any problems with downloading a GEDCOM file from the Park Database?

Download it to your hard drive and then import it into Legacy.

I've never had a problem with this and I use Legacy.

That's what I did. The file is small (8kb) but doesn't seem to have any data in it.

I'll try a different individual and see what happens.

Thanks Bez.

I've always downloaded the file from the earliest ancestor, as I said, so far no problems.

Tried a different individual - download worked fine.
Went back to the original individual - downloaded again - this time file much bigger (172kb) and it imported successfully into Legacy. I did everything exactly the same, yet the file is now much bigger.
So obviously something was getting corrupted.
