Fitzpatrick/Caroline
Hello All, I have been searching for years for descendents of the Fitzpatrick Family,
James b. abt. 1841 in Co. Down and Margaret Jane Caroline b. 1843 in Manchester - m. in Sep qtr. 1870 Dist of Ormskirk....they had children:
Mary Bernardino b. 1871 - Mary Jane b. 1872 - John Carshine (Caroline)b.  1873 - James b. 1874 - Mary (M) Margaret b. 1876 - Mary Sophia b. 1877 - Mary Thomasina b. 1879 - Mary Eleanor b. 1881 - Mary Agnes b. 1887......all Ormskirk Dist.
In the 1881 census the family are at 86 & 88 Belmont St., North Meols, Southport....including his brother Joseph Fitzpatrick.
James was a Baker and Flour Dealer.
In the 1891 census James and Margaret are at 89 Boundary Street, Nth Meols, Southport.....noted as a Baker.
Then in the 1901 census they are gone!!!!
I have found Mary Bernardino in the 1901 census at 46 Portland St., Southport as a domestic to the Catholic Priest, Arthur McCann.
Would love to know what happened to this family!
Just as an extra, my g grandfather Edward William Holt was born at Mount Street, Southport in 1863.....His Grandmother......my ggg grandmother was Jane Luckman/Holt/Crabtree and I have found that she died in the Ormskirk Workhouse in Jun 1892 (81 yrs). In the 1891 census she was with a family....can't make out their names 'Edwin and Helly Nappeson!!!!', a milk dealer, at 120 Upper Aughton Road, Formby, Ormskirk (would also love to know if they were family)!!!!!
Such a long post but such a lot of info that I can't go any further with.
Loooooove to find a descendent.....somewhere.
Good 2009 to all

All possibles, looks like the family is well and truly split up.

Mary E - 1901 looks like she is in Lathom as a servant. Lathom is not far from Southport.
