Not often you get ought for nought so a big thank you to Jane.
Wouldn't worry me paying, though I have had a free search and it was very helpful and interesting.
Oh while we are on the subject if anyone has family moved to Fleetwood . They have the parish reg for St. Peters in the library so if anyone needs a look up let me know.
don't drive so it will have to be when I go into town but am willing.

Thanks Germaine for the offer of searches in Fleetwood.   Many Marshside families (mainly Wrights) went to Fleetwood in the late 1800/early 1900's so it's good to be able to follow them around.   The North Meols publications includes a list of folk who went to Fleetwood so that's a good starting point and with you assisting on the trail it's very helpful

Your welcome.
My Nana once told me that Fleetwood was made up of Wrights Leadbetters and Wilsons. So true if you look at the migrants from North Meols to Fleetwood census of 1851 it is full of them with a few other names scattered in.
Oh there are plenty of us Wrights that is for sure. I was a Wright and my Dads mum came down from the Leadbetters then Wilsons to Meadows all born Morth Meols.
Peter Leadbetter said to be the first fisherman to land a catch of fish here.
