Gillies family

Hello to all. I am looking for Gillies family members in the area. Gillies is one of my brick walls and it occurred to me that contacting family members may help. My Gillies started out in Wigan and later moved to Birkdale.

I would suggest you do a search in some phone directories online - 192.com or BT

I have a UK info disc from 2002/03 which lists people from electoral registers - I will check later for you.

Okay my disc came free with a magazine and brings up just 30 people with a given surname in a given place. For Merseyside it is bringing up more than 30 - I only see 30. So if you have any ideas of a first name I can search better. But it gives you hope that there are plenty of people out there with this surname - and lots living in this area.
