I think it's brilliant that we have this forum now and just hope it becomes really popular so that we can all share what we know. There are so many people in this area doing FH research, and I'm sure lots of us are actually related, this site is the ideal way for us to make contact. Have posted all my main names on the boards, and am happy to share everything I know with anyone who thinks they may have a link.
Hi I keep popping in though I haven't posted anything yet .You all seem a friendly lot and tonight i am going to be cheeky and ask for a favour . When i find the right place to ask.
Hopefully one day i will be able to help someone too.
I think it is a really good forum thankyou

Not another Abram from Banks.
This is my first visit as I am thinking of tracing my family. When I clicked on "Richard Abram 1912" the wealth of information which flowed from Baxtersp was truly amazing. All the family names from my youth suddenly kept appearing.
I am Richard Christopher Abram, My father was Richard Abram from Banks, his father was John (Jack) Abram, there was an Auntie Alice, also an Uncle John Johnson, there was also an "Uncle John Baxter who was a butcher and emigrated to Canada... all names which appeared in the response. I could go on and on. We also had Ball's, Wright's and Rimmers in there as well.
Keep this site going because it is having quite a dramatic effect on me, and when I finish my current heritage film my next project will be to start tracing my Banks roots.
Chris Abram
I would say that this must be one of the best forums on the internet - I think it is very rare that somebody comes on with a plea for help and doesn't get the required response - plus
