Does anyone have any information on Ada Green who married George Hope, registration Sept 1903 8b. 991 in Ormskirk? Did they have any children living with them, either their own or other children?
Thank you.

Are you sure they married in Ormskirk - if that is the registration district on the GRO marriage index it could be in lots of places.

If you knew where they lived someone could try looking for them in a directory and then the electoral register to see who was with them - maybe children in later years

That was what I found for Ada Green and the date makes sense, as she was born in 1874. When it says 'Ormskirk' it doesn't provide any more information unless you order the marriage certificate, correct?

Yes that's right. Ormskirk is the registration district which covers a big area. You would have to order the certificate to find out which church/town etc.

There is a link on the forum for the GRO where you can order certificates online.
