According to family myth Maria Wright belonged to  a Shrimping Family. Can anyone prove or disprove this fact. Maria married David Young in about 1869 and was buried on VE day in 1945. According to a 9 year old Granddaughter she was disgusted that they were "leaving Grandma down a dirty hole."

David and Maria Young are on the 1871 census at 30 Barton St with a one year old son, Robert.  David came from Dunbarton.

The house was shared with the family of Henry Wright aged 28 and at number 32 there was the  family of William Wright aged 30.

I haven't found Maria on the 1861 census.
