Members' Interest nights

Has anyone any ideas what we could do on these nights? Members were asked at the meeting last night if there were any ideas or anything they would like.

Any topics maybe to discuss or any ideas generally are welcome

Try looking at how far people have travelled from Southport in the last Centuary. I have found people who have moved to South Africa, Canada and Australia. There could be some still living in the streets where their ancestors lived

Thanks Jim, that's an idea I haven't heard before. That's 4 suggestions I've received so they will go in my book.

Just a thought...if a member who lives away would like to take part in a members' interests evening they could send a contribution and someone would read it out for them...
