Alice RYMMER married Thomas ECCLES in Formby on 18 February 1765.

Does anyone have this lady and/or her marriage in their family tree, please?

(See also post ECCLES/RYMMER in E to H category)

I have checked the Rimmer family trees which I have and she doesn't appear in any of them - sorry.

Thank you.
I've ordered a copy of the Formby St Peter 1620-1780 cd from the Liverpool & S W Lancs FHS to see whether that helps confirm both Alice (b1774) and John (b1777) as children of Thomas ECCLES and Alice RYMMER.

Hi

I have a Thomas Eccles baptised 27 June 1779 at Formby who married Peggy Aughton on 9 Feb 1801 at North Meols and had twelve known children. He was the son of Thomas Eccles.

Other baptisms for Thomas and Alice are (all at Formby):
- Catherine - 6 Oct 1765
- Michael - 14 Feb 1768
- Margaret - 18 Mar 1770
- James - 12 Apr 1772
- Alice - 16 Oct 1774
- John - 9 Mar 1777

Thomas is likely to be the son of Michael Eccles and Catherine - baptised in Formby on 4 Nov 1744.

Hope this helps

Best wishes

Jo

Hi Jo

Many thanks - appears to substantiate the scenario depicted in my ECCLES/RYMMER post in the E to H section.

Do you by any chance have a d.o.b. and parents for Thomas's wife Alice, please?
