Can anybody please provide me with information Robert Wright who appears to have lived at 2 Kensington Road in 1869. On the marriage certificate of his daughter Maria to David Young his occupation is given as Labourer

I think number 2 will be near the junction with St Lukes/Rose Hill.  I didn't realise those houses were so old...

Number 2 was at the Derby Rd end, later the railway goods yard.

I think these are a little early to have mentions in local papers. I have usually found funeral reports after about 1910-1970's.

I take it that it was William who died 15/08/1910.   Mrs C Wright is shown at 25 Pine Grove in the 1914-15 street directory

According to the 1873/74 street directory 2 Kensington Road - David Wishurt - a builder

So I think either Robert moved or maybe he had died.
