Interesting that the second one says a musician on a liner. I wonder if he worked out of Liverpool?

Have you found anything about them on a census maybe?

john furness died 1914 went down with the empress of ireland its hard to judge his age    david

He must have been older than 14 - so on the 1901 census

More interesting pictures Dave

Interesting to me is the one of the musician, I just found my gg Grandfather details on the census he was born in Liverpool and living in Toxteth at that time, listed as a 'musician'.
