A strayIt would have been better Escapade if you had started a new thread for your stray - so I have copied and pasted it here.

New today
I'm doing some transcribing for the LanOPC project - Bolton registers - but I found a "stray" Ball from North Meols today & wondered if anyone was looking for him

John William Ball s William & Helen Ball of North Meols, fisherman.
Baptised by William Thistlethwaite, Minister.
No idea what a fisherman from North Meols was doing in Bolton at the time!
