Army pic - no idea?
This is what first drew me to the site, when Jane very kindly offered me some help.
I have absolutely no idea who is on this picture or what unit it is, other than its a Lloyd on there somewhere  I have 2 lots of military records that I cannot make head or tail of, that I hope to fetch to the next meeting for some help.
Also have another one of the same, if anyone can match it up.
I have done restores of both of these, but having PC probs just now so cant dig them out.

caphi if you can get a decent close up of the cap and put it on here someone might be able to recognise that might help identify the regiment my relation was in the yorkshire light infantry i have a couple of pictures i will see if it looks like the same regiment good luck david

Thanks Dave, been through this on another board, I cannot get a decent copy of the cap badge sadly. Only hope I have now is to find maybe another North Meols member in the know.

I found it 
Front row 3rd from right is my Granddads brother George, who spent only 6 months in the Kings Liverpool 49th Battalian reserves.
Found from other photo's I restored of my Granddad with the same guy, and one photo of him as a child - then extensive searching of war records and hours spent on google
