This is the only Barlow gravestone I've got so far, and I think Henry & Mary are the parents of the Henry Barlow that married Margaret Marshall.
The stone isn't it great condition, but at least the dates are readable.
I've managed to add the Barlow's to my extended tree, but I haven't put them all on yet. I let you have what I've got when I've finished.

I know they are buried in Halsall Churchyard.
They only had 2 daughters
Margaret - 15 September 1857 Renacre Lane, Halsall.
She married Joseph Scarisbrick 27 March 1875 (I have the original marriage certificate)
Mary - was baptised 5 January 1867 Halsall.
she married William Tebbutt 7 July 1894 at halsall.
They ran the pub next to the church.

Sorry - Mary's death year is 1870, not 1860. And her age at death could be 69 - it's hard to tell.
You mean the Mary Meadow baptised 3rd January 1802 don't you? Both her and Henry were baptised at St Cuthbert's, so it's possible they were buried there. To be honest I can't find another Henry Barlow who's the right age.

Thanks for that Steve. It isn't easy with this surname. I suppose because they lived in Halsall I assume that is where they would have been buried.
Then again I have people who were born & lived in Scarisbrick all their life but insisted on using Ormskirk church for some things and Scarisbrick for others. And some are buried in Ormskirk, some aren't.
Our ancestors certainly lead us a merry dance at times but I suppose if it was all easy we would soon get bored

The closest relative (of mine) that I've found marrying a Barlow is Robert Marshall (c. 1843/44) , who married Mary Barlow (c. 1846) daughter of Peter & Margaret Barlow. I think Robert Marshall was the son of Henry Marshall and Jane/Jenny Lives(l)ey of Birkdale and that would make Robert my 3rd cousin 6 times removed (so far).
I use Legacy (version 6) myself, and it will export GEDCOM's, but not specifically to Family Tree Maker. I'll trey and send you a GEDCOM in PAF 5 format (Personal Ancestry File) - it's a popular program so Family Tree Maker should be able to import it.
