Burial Registers at the CrematoriumIs this the only place they are for Southport. I have a few whose graves I would like to find, but cannot imagine they would like me to give them a list

This is the only place that you will find the records of burials for 'public' graves (i.e. Duke Street, Liverpool Road); if you do have a list I would go in and ask them if you can leave it with them and when can you pick it up (or leave a sae with them) - you might get away with that

I think they may be charging for 'postal' information, but if you call in you might just get away with it? Hope so

Thanks, sorry not been back before now but didn't get notification that thread had been added too. Very strange.
Perhaps I will ring tomorrow and check. If I have to pay might as well make it worth my while

Well, I rang this morning and asked for the information re two graves. Lady said to ring back in ten mins. 20 mins later I rang but she said it had got busy and hadn't quite finished but would ring me back. About an hour later she rang and gave the info. No payment was requested. I was going to ask her about it but she rang off too quickly .
Will have to spread my others out
Now I have the info just got to find them :!:
