I have -
Frances Edith Maud Scarisbrick married Joseph Gerard Dickinson
25 May 1901 at Halsall Parish Church, Halsall, Lancs
Their children were - Ruby, Eva, George, Jim & Harry but I have yet to find their births.
Joseph's parents were Joseph & Sarah and I have 7 children for them
born between 1881 - 1898
Joseph, Margaret, Richard, Sarah, Amy, Eva, Florence
As yet only got the 1881 and 1901 census for that family.
When (joke ha ha) we get our broadband back I will look further into this family on Ancestry.

Hi Glenys
My dads sister married a Jack Rimmer (Birkdale) and apparently Jacks sister Jane Rimmer married Jack Dickinson of Formby.
My aunt told me years ago that Jack Dickinson was born at the Bayhorse and lived in the 1st house in York Rd.
This is only hearsay, I haven't checked it out.
Good luck

Hi again 'Mother'!
Thanks for the info - I have details somewhere of a family at the Bay Horse, it was known at one time as the Bay Pony.
There were also Dickinsons at the Railway and at the brewery in Brewery Lane, Formby.

Glenys I have looked at Joseph senior. Info is only from census. As I say I am still researching this line but at the minute our broadband is broken and dial up is too slow to use Ancestry.
Joseph (father) was born about 1855 Liverpool.
On the 1881 census they lived at 71 & 73 Mint Street, West derby
1901 - 39 Portland Place, Everton, Liverpool
Joseph is down as a Green grocer & Fruit merchant
