This photo is of Dinah with most of her family on holiday in the Isle of Man. I can date is pretty accurately by little Maggie seated in the middle - she is aged 5 on the 1901 Census (taken on the 31st March), so was probably born 1895/6.
The little girl far left (with "Mother" written over her head) is Dinah Cropper (later Dinah Bond). Her parents, seated at the front, are Peter & Mary Cropper (nee Taylor). The only missing child is Robert Cropper, Peter & Mary's eldest son. I don't know what happened to most of the children, apart from Peter junior and Richard who are buried with their parents in St Johns.

These Cropper's aren't mine, but they are my Mum's friend Alf's! I'm letting Alf, who also lives in NZ, know & I'm sure he'll be thrilled. The other person who I'm sure would love to see this photo, I'm told, is Mrs ***************** as she's an expert on the Cropper family and lives ******. Sorry I don't have her e-mail address. I haven't had any contact with ***** myself, so wonder if you'd mind giving her a call?
