frank fletcher 78,shakespeare st [1906-1959]Frank was born in Rochdale,lancashire in 1881. He was my late father's
uncle,but up to now i can't find him anywere in my family tree.
All other male ancester's were named George and lived in
Liverpool 1875-1906
Liverpool 1845-1881=DROWNED in Salthouse Dock Liverpool.
Wales Bangor. Born 1812
oxfordshire Banbury 1787-1864. Proffesion Boot + Shoe Maker.
All four were named George.
Frank Fletcher married Sarah Jane Marshall [or Buckley] in 1906?
Any help would be appreciated to tie Frank into my tree.

frank fletcherFrank By hearsay was my late father's Uncle and only living relative.
I visited Frank in 1958,he looked very much like my father.
In the 1901 census i found Frank [tailor's apprentice] with Thomas fletcher as his father born 1841. can't find any frank or thomas matches,or how they were born in ROCHDALE.
My grandfather George had no brother's
And as far as i know all Fletcher's ended up in Liverpool.
Can't find any connection. Seem's like a dead end. :smt010 :smt010 :smt010

Do you know when Frank died? Maybe a funeral was reported in a local paper. In fact a funeral report for some other family member might help. They usually list family members who attended the funeral and give their relationship to the deceased person
Failing that a copy of Frank's birth certificate would show his parents and might settle if there was a family link

he died 8-10 1959. I will pay a visit to the library to check .
As for birth certificates, there were 3 Frank's born in 1881in Rochdale
So it's difficult to sort out which one.
