Frederick Johnson c1851Johnson is a new surname in my tree, so don't know much about them.
Frederick's daughter Margaret 1871 married Richard Howard 1891.
Found (Frederick) on 1881 census RG11/3748 Fol 79 Page 52 living at Roe Lane (Cottage) with family and wife is possible Mary Ball (marriage 1871)
also 1891 he is at same address and a few doors down is a Richard Rimmer 81, son Thomas, Jane Ball, grand daughter and Margaret E? Johnson grand daughter.
Given that Richard Howard's brother possibly married a Jane Ball I am trying to link Johnson, Ball & Rimmer together, and to find Frederick's parents as not too clear from census' who they were.
Any names ring a bell with anyone please? Just thought I would ask 
As they are not direct line I don't really want to buy certs, but of course I have been sidetracked and would like to try and sort it out
