Lancashire Online Parish Clerk Project - UpdatesThere seems to have alot of updates since I last went on, not so much North Meols, but Ormskirk and have just found St Luke's Marriages 1883-1904.http://www.lan-opc.org.uk/Southpo.../stluke/marriages_1883-1904.html. Burials 1866 to 1884 from the Parish of North Meols
ie St Cuthbert's arrived yesterday At last I think I have solved the problem of the fate of my GG grandmother Margery Halsall. She was buried on 5 March 1871 as Margery, aged 33, but registered as Margaret! Don't know why I didn't spot that before. That was a month before census day, which probably explains why husband Thomas is nowhere to be found; and why children James & Betty are in the hospital. Now for the certificate... |

No newsWell, I had a look and found my g.granmother's burial as expected but no mention of the child that she was expecting...There was a stillborn burial so if her baby had died it could have been buried with her but doesn't seem to be. She died in the Women's Hospital in Liverpool...if the baby was born alive would it be registered in Liverpool? I really should know this... Dotty |

I would think so Dotty if that is where the baby was born. I am sure as long as it lived it would have to be reg. and where it was born.

Marriages 1907-1921 All the Halsalls & Sumners are mine I don't even have to add in all the spouses, many of them are already related
