Hi,

I am researching Gray Leaver, M.B.E (1884 – 1952), son of Peter Leaver (1862 – 1935), and older Brother of the famous water colour artist, Noel Harry Leaver (1889 – 1951).

Gray Leaver was a former Conservative agent at Burnley, and during the 1930’s he moved to Southport with his wife and three sons, Noel Stanley Leaver (1910 – 1943), Peter Gray Leaver (1914 - ?), and John Gray Leaver (1920 – 1993).

Gray and his wife Edith Elizabeth are buried at St John the Divine, Lytham.

1952 – LEAVER Gray of 176 Preston New road, Southport, Lancashire, died 20 July 1952 at the Infirmary Southport. Probate London 23 August to Peter Gray Leaver and John Gray Leaver, sales representatives. Effects £5,234 0s. 7d.
