My great great grandmother was Margaret Rimmer born 14/11/1849 - Altcar, who married a John Bond (b 1847) around September 1871.
They had a daughter Annie Bond b 23/04/1874 - Formby.
Margarets birth certificate states her parents as:
Thomas & Esther Rimmer (nee Cardigan/Cadigan)
I believe Margarets siblings to be Elizabeth c1833, Alice c1841, Jane c1843 & James c1845.
If anyone recognises the above, I would love to hear from them, especially as Esther is proving to be a problem due to spelling variations etc.

Have you seen the 1841 & 1851 census?
Esther seems to have become Easter
Husband Thomas and children James, Alice & Elizabeth seem to fit on 1841 and there are other children on 1851 census.
She seems to be Esther in 1871. Haven't seen her in 1861 census yet.

Yes she appears to be Easter in 1851.... not found the 1861 yet as got sidetracked (lethal).
What with the variations in spelling in both her christian name & surname.... its not easy!
Was hoping someone may have her in their tree.... in the mean time, I'll plod on & try not to get sidetracked again!!
