A lovely lady came to talk to us at the GRO and she left us some info she had about information that was being written about. There are moves a foot (pardon the pun) to photo every gravestone in England.
I hope there is something of interest for someone, at least.

A similar thing is going in in the Netherlands that started out in the province of Friesland and is spreading to other provinces.
The site is called Graftombe (grave tomb):
I must have already found hundreds of relatives this way that I would otherwise have had a hard time finding.
I volunteered to do a small graveyard near my house.
When you find the details of one or more graves by searching the site, a message is automatically sent to the owner of the site, who then sends you the photos by e-mail (so you can visually check the transcribed data).
