Can anyone please tell me anything about the Anderson and Millington Girls College Ellerslie Upper Park Road Victoria Park. I am searching for Jane Cecelia Anderson who was a teacher there in 1879[Kellys Directory] but was found as a Matron in the Manchester and Salford Provident Society Convalescent home in the 1881 Census. Upper Park Road is now Westcliffe Road, Birkdale.  Ellerslie School is now Ellerslie Court  a Residential Care Home. An approach to them may help with your enquiry.
