Does anyone have this Richard on their tree
Can anyone confirm Richard's first wife's name please. Could it be Ann Jump?
1861 census
Richard Marshall age 87 Father in law. Shoemaker.
Son in law Peter Moss 50
Daughter Mary Moss age 45 (Marriage to Peter Moss 1842)
RGH9/2762/59/5
1851 HO107/2196/505/23
Richard age 74 Shoemaker
Wife Jane c1799
Stepchildren
Robert Jackson
Thomas Jackson
Ann Jackson
Richard married Jane Jackson 1846
Jane was I think Jane Carr who married John Jackson.
Would fit in as John died 1838
1841
Richard Cordwainer,
Mary 22
Richard 15
Ann 6mths - as Ann Halsall nee Jump?? died 1833 then this cannot be Richard's daughter.
Perhaps Ann is Mary's daughter. According to 'Park' she had a son Richard with Nicholas Linaker.
Just clearing up the loose ends.
Peter and Mary Moss had a son Richard who was the second husband of my 3xgt grandmother.
now thinking about it, on my 3xgt grandmother's marriage cert Richard is down as 50 so that means as they were married 1884 he was born c1834, so he cannot be the son of Peter and Mary nee Halsall. but he is the son of Peter, coal merchant

Perhaps the other information is of use to someone

Yvonne,
I think I have Richard on my extended tree and so do several other regular posters on the forum. I've just got in from work and will have my tea and dig out my info and have a good look.
