Hey I thought this family tree stuff was going to be easy! How wrong can you be?

Anyway, does anyone have information about Robert Sutton born 1803 and married to Margeret (Culshaw or Hesketh) born 1795. They are the parents of Henry Sutton born 1826.

I need a link from Robert to either Duke Sutton or one of his brothers.

Any help appreciated.

I have a Robert Sutton, born 29 Aug. 1802 who married Margaret Hesketh, born 2 Feb. 1800. They were married 15 Sept. 1828. Robert's father was William Sutton, shoemaker, c. 1760 and mother was Margaret Wright, born c. 1766. Looking at my tree, it looks like your Robert's father, William, was a nephew to Duke Sutton: My line is from John Sutton, who was a brother to Duke. My John was the father of your William Senior (1760).

My line comes from John to Jane (Jenny) Sutton, b. 1875

I have just recieved Henry Suttons marraige certificate that states that his fathers name in Thomas Sutton. In the 1841 census Thomas and Henry appear to be living with Robert Sutton and Margaret Sutton. Perhaps Thomas' wife has died and they are now living with there relatives.

HOWEVER, the names of their parents seem to be unclear. How sure are you thta Roberts parents are William and Margeret?
