Jane kindly obtained & sent to me, copies of articles in both Southport Splendid Hearts and 1916 editions of the Southport Visiter regarding the death of my uncle in WW1. This has added to information that I already had on both him and my father’s military service and has prompted to dig further. Two sites have proved useful:
