ArticlesI have information about what happened to the granddaughter of Ruth Rimmer but don't know if it would be appropriate to write about it. Ruth's granddaughter is my grandmother. who left England in 1911 under an assumed name (we don't know why) and left behind a young son and possibly a husband. She traveled to Montreal and later to Rochester, NY. She married and had 2 daughters and 6 granddaughters. 96 years later, I uncovered her real name based on the information she gave us of her family in Birkdale, Ainsdale, Southport, & North Meols area. I am now searching for what became of her son and husband. I also am searching for what became of my grandmother's father and older brother. I understand if this is not what you're looking for or don't feel this should be on the site or in the newsletter.Thank you, Kathleen |
