War MemorialDoes anyone know if there is a full list of names on the Southport memorial? I have asked in the library and they only have the list from when it was first erected in the 1920's - so that would only include the 1st World War
I feel there should be a full list - and maybe a book like Southport Splendid hearts for all those killed in the 2nd World war

I understood Andrew to say that others had been included since, also someone from the Falklands War.
However, I not too sure

Others have been included more recently - I know Seacop has said a nephew and the most recent was Matthew Titchener who was killed in Iraq in 2003
But the only list I can find is from the 1920's when the memorial was built.
Someone has suggested taking photo's which I can then upload onto my home PC and hopefully see them all to type up. I just thought it would be useful to have a list of others - or even another book for the ones after the 1st War.

Careful Jane - you could be talking yourself into another (big) job here - it would be a very useful list/book to have available I don't mind holding the ladder if you want to climb up to photograph the names
