William Henry CoffeyHas anyone got William in there tree. I was at LRO this afternoon and came across him in the admission reg. for Whittingham Asylum in 1891.
Not a lot of details but if anyone is interested I will post it for them.
Didn't find what I was looking for so wasn't going to come away empty handed thought someone might want it.

ShameSadly, he doesn't belong to me either. Well it's early days yet...
Sometimes you just have to come home with something, don't you.

Yes shame I didn't find my missing man but he will be out there somewhere. Another one to watch out for in the 1911 least I know where he is then so with a bit of luck he will tell the truth as to where he was born then. Got a feeling he might have been on his way back from USA. Found one going out there but he isn't on their census either.
Oh yes you can't go and not come home with anythig. Hope someone claims poor old William he was a Pawn Broker in Chestnut Steet.

Just had a look at the census he was in Blackburn in 1891 census by May he was admitted and the address given was in Chestnut St. Southport. But look how sad is this look at the age of his wife and family. He died Sept 1892
