William Wright


I have recently discovered that the above William Wright was my g uncle his brother Hugh was my g  grandfather , William was a builder in southport in tyhe 1900s and was a pioneer in the building development of Southport particularly in St Lukes district his son Edward took over the firm on Williams death . Can anyone help with a little more history on Willliam and his life

General Notes: birth and chr No 47 William the Son of John Wright of Southport in the Parish of North Meols in the County of Lancaster fisherman and of Ann his wife, who was the daughter of Daniel Keen and Susanna his wife was born on the fifteenth day of May in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and thirty two And was solemnly baptized with water, in the name of the Father, of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost, on the seventeenth day of June in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and thirty two by me J.
