WRIGHT/MAGNER/FREEMANHi!
Just posting my family info to see if anyone recognizes any of these people.
My husband's maternal grandparents were Andrew FREEMAN (b. 1890, Liverpool) and Betty WRIGHT (b. 1894, Marshside). Betty's parents were John (b. 1859 in Fleetwood) and Nelley (b. 1862 in Marshside) WRIGHT. Betty's siblings were Sarah (1885), Ann (1886), Alice (1892), Nelly (1897), and Jack (1901). John served on the lifeboats.
Not certain yet, but I believe Nelley was actually Ellen WRIGHT. For the sake of our children, I'm hoping John and Ellen were DISTANT cousins --!javascript:emoticon(' ')
I am awaiting Betty's birth certificate to verify that Ellen and Nelley are one and the same, but if she is, then things get really confusing, because both John and Ellen's fathers were named Robert Wright, both were fishermen, and I suspect from my research on Ancestry, both came from North Meols! So it may be a challenge to sort that out!
Anyone recognize this branch of the Wright family?

This could get really difficult as there were many, many Wrights in Marshside, most of them located in Shellfield Road - you are really going to need a boatful of luck to sort out which ones are yours Keep us posted if you do get any luck with the certificates and, hopefully, if you do get an address I have several listings for Shellfield Road which include the family nicknames, so I may be able to identify which is the "Wright" one for you - sorry, I just couldn't resist that
