A quick search reveals

Birth for a Denis Bailey - March quarter 1869 Rotherham

A few births for Eliza Ann Hurd so difficult to work out which is her

Checking marriages on FreeBMD I still can't match the pair :?:
Ah bet this is them -- September quarter 1889 Rotherham 9c 787
Dennis Bailey and Ann Eliza Hird

So this could be her birth - September quarter 1867 Rotherham

OK I am a little bit further got THOMAS RIMMER and ELLEN ANN SOURBUTTS marriage certificate 11-09-1886 both 20 years old so both born 1866 :grin: his dad was WILLIAM RIMMER(Wheelwright) her dad was JOHN SOURBUTTS(Platelayer) (deceased) in 1886?

I wonder how many people searching their family history are thwarted by incorrect spellings?

In the past week seacop and I have had 2 or 3 people at the help desk saying they can't find he or she and when we worked our magic it has shown that the spelling of their names were incorrect.

So true Dotty I do usually look for that but one lot took me almost 4 years to find.
