I have found that on the 1871 census the family are listed as living in Crossens...no street name and the father, Thomas, is listed as being an Ag Lab.

I was going to get together with you yesterday (if it was good for you) but I ended up having to take David to Litherland for an emergency dental appointment...what is it they say about the best laid plans.

Just let me know when you want to go reading maps in the graveyard......

By the way, has anyone done any work on the MI's in Duke St?? Apparently there is someone from the Titanic buried in there, and there will be loads of Rimmers.

I do have some of the 'Duke Street' Rimmers listed; my nephew was listing them for me and Jane and I went last summer to write them all down - but he's only done a couple of sections! Must get on to him again before the really bad weather starts up Shocked
