Hi everyone, I'm still having problems with my Thomas Ball [b North Meols, c1798] I now have the marriage certificate for his 3rd marriage, it  has his father as George Ball. Can anyone confirm that this is George, the son of Richard and Alice Fairclough?  I would like to contact Stephen Ball about his article in the Sandgrounder.....he has my Thomas as the son of Gilbert and Margery Blundell. My Thomas Ball  [father George] married Alice Hamer, Esther Haslam, then Ann Collier, widow. Ann's father was James Haslam and I believe she was a half sister to Esther.    Plese can somebody offer some help??      Regards to all,  Joan,  New Zealand.

Are you a member of the society? If you are then you will have a copy of the members' interest booklet. That will give you details of other members and you can contact any one of them if you think you have a family connection

I sympathise with your dilemma as I have one of my lot marrying an Alice and I have her as one surname and others have her as another...

Good hunting,
