I got her marriage cert today but cannot find her father on census.
Mary Alice was 19 when she married 7th Nov 1899.
Her father is given as Robert Rimmer, Cab Driver.
Her address on marriage was 22 Bury Road, however her sister in law ( Elizabeth Hughes) and family were living there on 1901 cenus.
Has anyone come across them :?: got them on their tree :?: please
Mary named her first daughter Ellen, perhaps a clue to her mother's name, but I still cannot find a Robert & Ellen.
I don't particulary want to send for her birth cert, as she only 'married in' to my line, but would like to give names to her parents.

Thanks sooner, think I had seen that one and wondered about it, but as Mary states born Southport, and Lydiate is a fair few miles away I passed on it.
1891 Robert is widowed and still an ag lab

lydiate is next to halsall and families often used southport as name of pob. many of my own rimmers are from halsall and down holland as well as northmeols, southport, marshside, and little london. they are all related. her mum could have gone home to have the baby with her mother to attend.
