| As the main researcher for the Rimmer FHS I do get bogged down - will try and help but it looks as if it depends on a trip to the Library - please bear with me? What, precisely, are you looking for?

I think this may be better under the Rimmer part of the forum.
If it is help parents for Alice Rimmer you may find her baptism at Halsall church or Ormskirk. These are kept in the Lancashire Record Office at Preston.
So rather than a trip to Southport library Seacop it may mean a trip to Preston. Maybe Jackie lives nearby or too far away?
You never know - somebody may read this who has this Rimmer line in their tree - which is why it may be better under RIMMER
