"Park" has been updated today - check your rellies. I know one of the changes is to my GGGG grandfather William BLUNDELL, and gives me a (probable) RIMMER as GGGG grandmother. Thanks Joyce

Thanks for the heads-up Brian...I can't believe it's been so long since I was on the forum.

I have been busy at work...year-end accounts!

Perhaps like many others, I regularly check out the Park database, especially for updates.
There was an update earlier this month and my questionos, is there any way to see what has been updated or is it just a matter of searching through in the hope of finding the new/updated info?

I think you can contact Joyce directly through the database email address, Delboy.  She will let you know when her last update was.

Park database had a minor update recently.

I'm still ploughing through it to supplement missing children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren of my found ancestors from North Meols, it seems a never ending task...

The more I find and copy, the more extra connections between relatives or family-in-law I find as well, it seems to be a large network of people who are mostly quite closely related..

Rymer/Rimer/Rimmer is by far the most abundant surname in my tree now.
Did they change the pronunciation of this name I wonder or was Rymer always pronounced as Rimmer?

Hello Andre

Hope the weather is being kind to you and the tulips.

I have heard Rymer prounounce both ways...Rimmer and Rymer.  I think it depends on whomever was registering this and that.  A bit like Hodge and Hodges...

My rellies lived in the same cottage over the years and sometimes it was in Threlfalls Lane and sometimes Threlfall Lane...anything to confuse , I guess!

Regards
